Piano Stories - S2E1

So there we were. Having once had to have the best junk hauler EVER, Steve’s Hauling, totally demolish a piano played by Ray Stevens (made famous by his 70s classic “The Streak”), we were gun shy about stepping up to help some clients find a new home for their 1886 Steinway upright piano. But because we do a good bit more than just sell homes such as this one, AND, because Diane is nothing if not brave, she stepped forward. After fending off a series of scammers from FaceBook marketplace and other assorted misfits, she found a family who wanted to have and to hold the Steinway for richer and poorer, for better and worse…

Our client wrote:

Diane,

Wow!  What an amazing story.  Winnie sounds like a very remarkable and passionate person.   Thank you so much for helping the piano to live on!  It’s wonderful that it will have a new home with lots of kids to keep it company.  It also sounds like Jack is a great resource.  Fingers crossed all goes well with the move.  The price is absolutely fine, all I was hoping for was to keep it out of the land fill, but this is a slam dunk!  Thank you for taking this on.

With great appreciation,

J
